Gale Becomes Third Different Jr. Dragster Winner; Weinreich Makes Two Finals in Saturday Night Showdown

By Billy Kleinsphen

After nearly a month off, the stars of the ET Series returned to the House of Chaos for the second half of the season — and the final stretch in the battle to become a 2025 Maple Grove ET Series Champion.

In Jr. Dragster action, the season trend continued with a third different winner in as many races. This time, it was Zach Gale who joined the winners’ circle, defeating Charlotte Ecks in the final. Gale now joins Morgan Harp and Ecks as race winners in what’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive Jr. seasons yet.

In Super Pro Eliminator, it was Ray Fordyce III taking home the win in a classic Doorcar vs. Dragster final round, defeating big-money standout Jason Hoff.

Defending Sportsman Eliminator champion Charles “Butch” Weinreich pulled off a big accomplishment by reaching two finals in one day. He claimed the Sportsman win over Tim Ash, then made a run at a second trophy in Pro Eliminator. Butch came up just one round short, with former Jr. Dragster standout Joe Dedrick picking up his first career Pro win.

In Top Bike, defending track champion Vanderbilt Boyce Jr. notched his first win of the season with a final-round victory over Jeff Cesari.

The Mini Bike class brought extra fun to the night, with Gregory Mottas getting the win over Michael Grey.

Jr. Street featured a battle between two standouts, as former Eastern Conference Finals winner James Stack Jr. got the win over Emily Kelley.

Rounding out the action was a pair of special gamblers races:

  • In the Big Car Gamblers, Steve Lotere defeated Greg McClenan.

  • In Jr. Gamblers, Frank Aragona III took the win over Troy Steinke.

Harp Becomes First Repeat Jr. Dragster Winner; Former Track Champions Return to Victory Lane

By Billy Kleinsphen

After a successful Saturday showing at Race 5, several hundred racers stuck around for Sunday’s installment — marking the second full doubleheader weekend of the season.

In Jr. Dragster, Morgan Harp made headlines by becoming the first repeat winner of the 2025 season, defeating Danny Spotts in the final round.

Super Pro saw Rick Terkowski take home the Wally after a final-round victory over Scott Waters.

In Pro Eliminator, it was a familiar storyline as another former Jr. Dragster graduate found success — this time Douglas Fellenbaum Jr. picked up the win over Scott Weger, marking back-to-back days where a Jr. alum claimed Pro honors.

Sportsman Eliminator featured the return of a familiar face to the winner’s circle, as former track champion Adam Werner defeated David Harvey III in the final.

Top Bike saw Mike Trembley secure the win over Lawrence Currie in a strong showing.

In Jr. Street, Troy Steinke earned redemption, claiming the win in his second final-round appearance of the weekend. He also took home an additional $100 bonus courtesy of 2024 Jr. Street champion Allen Kohr Jr. Runner-up Bentley Miller didn’t leave empty-handed, earning a $50 bonus from Kohr as well.

Mini Bike action delivered a rematch of Saturday’s final — but this time, the outcome flipped, with Michael Grey defeating Gregory Mottas to even the score.
