We have been hearing rumors lately about our 2017 Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail Series schedule and our Auto Locator Fast Friday program.
We are actively working on a daily basis to put our 2017 Season Schedule together for our 55th season of racing here at Maple Grove Raceway. Each and every year we hear new rumors circulate regarding our anticipated calendar of events for the next season and this fall is no different.
The most active rumor, which is one hundred percent untrue, is that we are cutting back to only eight Money Trail events. As of the date of this release, we do not have a final number of Money Trail events but our goal is to remain at the normal 15 point days. If by some off chance that is unobtainable goal, the worst case scenario would be 12 or 13. The number can fluctuate due to other events coming on board for next year. However, this is a normal situation we face every year while we are planning out the next season’s schedule. We must evaluate events and promoters that desire to partner with us on future plans. Potential partnerships and events are thoroughly analyzed to the same degree as our already established events, such as the Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail Series. Our goal is to bring new opportunities to the season’s schedule, while also developing on the strong foundation we currently have in place for our racers and the Money Trail Series sponsors. We do what we feel is in the best interest of our customers, racers and our overall business plan.
The Auto Locator Fast Friday series has been a staple of Maple Grove Raceway for many years and we will continue to host the series for the 2017 season. Our partnership with Auto Locator has grown over the years and with their continued support, the Fast Friday series continues to introduce “new” racers to Maple Grove Raceway.
The 2017 season schedule should be announced by year’s end and we are very excited about what we have planned for our fans and our racers. Stay tuned!
Maple Grove Raceway has long and storied past in regards to the Money Trail Series. For over 46 years a long list of champion’s have placed their names in Champion’s Lane and the tradition will continue into the future.
