The Index series is open to anyone wanting to compete. Competitors must meet all rules of the desired Index class and  NHRA tech inspection.

Index Series Rules

Boccella’s Auto & Performance 8.50 Index- ¼ mile race, all run field

400 Pro tree heads up start with 7 second auto start.

NHRA Pro ladder.

Deep staging allowed, but auto-start will be on at all times. Courtesy staging advised.

Minimum weight 2800lbs. Vehicles will be randomly selected for weight check.

Full bodied street appearing cars and light trucks only. No roadsters, altereds or dragsters allowed.

Lettering on windows permitted. Lettering on car must be approved before competition.

Full round and square tube chassis prohibited.

Stock style front suspension mandatory, bolt on aftermarket parts permitted.

Trans brake & two step permitted.

Throttle stops/controllers, delay boxes/devices PROHIBITED.

Aftermarket air or electric automatic shifters or shifting devices PROHIBITED. Car must either be shifted by driver or must be a function of OEM stock equipment.

Mufflers mandatory on all vehicles except turbo charged vehicles inserts are not mufflers.

Car & Driver must meet NHRA & track safety rules.

Gasoline, E85, alcohol and diesel permitted. Nitro-methane prohibited.

Maximum tire size of 33×10.5w or any size drag radial.

The use of any device specifically designed and/or used to measure driveshaft speed, wheel speed or track position that has the capability of adding and/or removing power from the engine or transmitting a signal to the driver, any other person (i.e. light or sound etc.) or any other device is prohibited. Anyone found to be in violation of this rule will be suspended indefinitely

SRS Fitness 10.0 & 11.50 Index- ¼ mile racing, all run field

500 Pro tree heads up start with 7 second auto start.

Full bodied street appearing cars and light trucks only.

Finished interiors with either a full front bench seat or 2 front bucket seats mandatory.

Mufflers mandatory except on turbo charged entries, inserts are not mufflers.

Any tire suitable for racing, must fit inside wheel well. Revised 1/16

Gasoline, E85, alcohol and diesel permitted. Nitro-methane prohibited.

Stock frame and back half vehicles permitted. Full round or square tube chassis prohibited.

Tubbed vehicles permitted.

Finished interiors. Dash, door panels and other trim panels installed with either a full front bench seat or 2 front bucket seats mandatory. No gutted interiors

Mufflers mandatory.

Any size drag radial, must fit inside wheel well. All tires must be DOT approved

Gasoline, E85, Alcohol and Diesel permitted. Nitro-methane prohibited.

Stock frame and back half cars permitted. Full round or square tube chassis prohibited.

After market automatic shifters or shifting devices PROHIBITED. Car must either be shifted by driver or must be a function of OEM stock equipment.

The bye car for first round will be the car with the best non-red reaction time during first time trial.

Points

Points Fund

 Points fund fees will be $50 for 10.0, 11.50, 12.50, Pro Dial and 8.50 will be $100.   The top point’s earners will be rewarded with payouts during the Annual Awards Banquet. Champions will receive a jacket and a special award made by S&W racecars plus a free entry to the points fund for the Index series class during following season. Index classes will receive round points with the addition of qualifying points to the top 8 qualifiers in each Index class. Pro dial will receive round points only.

To earn points a racer must sign up and be paid in full prior to first round of eliminations at the race which points accumulation begins. Points will only be awarded to enrolled drivers only. Points are non-transferable from one class to another
