Saturday early events – gates open 8:00
a.m., time trials 8:45 a.m. and eliminations beginning at 10:00 a.m. We will
try and complete at least 3 rounds of eliminations by 11:00 a.m. At
this time we will start time trials for the Trophy and Street, then go into
the next round of eliminations, run Heavy then another round and after Super
time trial the JR final.

Championship & High School Challenge
presented by Lincoln Technical Institute
Gates open 8:00 a.m., time trials 9:00 a.m., eliminations 12
noon. High Scholl Challenge racers must have waiver & release signed by both
parents prior to event. Call 610-856-9200 for forms.
NHRA Summer JR Dragster Championship,
Sunday, June 8 – special event
from NHRA. Winners of Classes A, B & C will receive a special trophy
from the NHRA. At this event three classes, plus Consolation race for first
and second round losers. Class A – 8/9 yr., Class B – 10/13 yr and Class C
14/17 yrs.

The 2003 NHRA
JR Drag Racing League Eastern Conferences will be held
at Maple Grove Raceway. The event dates are June 26-28, 2003. On
Wednesday, June 25, a JR Dragster only Test & Tune is set to take place.

June 25 – 29: (30) Team
members eligible from each track. Maple Grove Raceway will pay entry fee for Top
10 in points earners as of June 10. All 30 Team members will receive Team JR
Maple Grove T-shirt.
Optional Test & Tune - Wednesday, June 25
(race entry $35, crew N/C, but must purchase event crew pass
$40).
Eastern Conference Finals - Thursday/Friday/Saturday, June 26, 27 & 28
(Race entry $85, crew $40, general admission $15 per day,
racer & crew pass includes barbecue)

at Maple Grove Raceway. Three teams of 10 per team will
represent Team Maple Grove at the Eastern Conference.
No JR Dragster racing August 15 or 16th in support of NED JR Dragster
Divisional at Mason-Dixon Dragway.
JR drivers must sign-up for points to be eligible for Parkway JR Dragster
Series awards, membership fee $25.00.
Top 10 point earners at completion of race series receive U.S. Savings Bonds
at awards banquet.
Top 10 point earners receive Maple Grove Raceway/Parkway JR Dragster
Series jacket.
Top 10 point earners receive free ticket to annual awards banquet.

NHRA Drag Racing League Conference Finals
Information - 2003
Here are some facts about this year's
Jr. Conference Finals to help answer questions that you may be
asked:
Note that many racers still refer to these as the Jr. Nationals. There
is no Jr. Nationals. These are the events they are talking about.
These events will hopefully draw about 600 cars each.
* The NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern
Conference Finals is June 25-28 at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pa.
* The NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Western Conference Finals is
July 30-Aug. 2 at Bandimere Speedway outside of Denver, Colo.
* Racers must represent an NHRA Member Race Track (exception is defending
champions who are seeded). Each track may send three teams of 10 each.
Teams from Divisions 1, 2 and 3 must go to the Eastern Race.
Teams from Division 5, 6 and 7 must go to the Western race. Teams from
Division 4 may go to one OR the other but the whole team must go to the
same event.
* Rosters must be turned in (FAXED) by the race tracks to the NHRA Field
Office no later than June 10 in the East and July 15 in the West. This
will give NHRA publications time to get all of the names into the respective
entry lists. Entry forms should be sent by the racers to the
appropriate host race tracks with appropriate fees prior to the event.
These rosters and entry forms will be sent to the race track from the NHRA
field office on June 1.
* Racers will race in an age groups (8-9, 10 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16-17)
according to the their age on Jan. 1, 2003. The only exception is
racer who began the year as a nine-year-old and turned 10 before the event.
Those racers can choose to run with the 8-9 year-old group or the
10-year-old group. Anyone running the 8-9 year old group must adhere
to the 12.90 elapsed time limit for that category.
* Each age group champion receives a Wally trophy and a $5,000 savings bond.
There will also be a championship team that
receives a Wally (10 ea.) trophies.
