Maple Grove’s 2015 Season ends this weekend

Maple Grove Raceway’s 2015 season comes to an end this weekend, giving fans the last chance to experience the Grove until 2016.


The annual Fall Flea Market will be held on Saturday, October 24 followed by the Beast Coast Shootout event being held Sunday, October 25.


The Fall Flea Market, which features hundreds of vendors selling parts and other automotive items, begins at 7 a.m. Vendors can rent a 15 foot by 20 foot space for $35.  Buyers can enter for $5, and children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.


It will be a Maple Grove first as the Beast Coast Shootout visits on October 25.  In conjunction with Slip Stream Racing Events, this event promises to give fans the best Roll Racing action around and one of the Biggest Car Shows in the region.  Featuring a full size Trade Show with amazing vendors, twelve racing categories and seven show categories, the event will also feature Freakin Rican from the television show “Street Outlaws”.


Freakin Rican will be doing a 3 race dig event with local list racer Dale Crouch. This mini event will be held at lunch time (12pm). After the mini event, Rican and Dale will hop in line to roll race against the cars in the main event.


Registration is $255 for each of the Roll Racing categories.  Those categories are:

  • Heavy Weight (4200 + pounds)
  • Naturally Aspirated
  • Forced Induction
  • Import
  • Classic
  • Ford
  • Chevy
  • Mopar
  • Beast of the East (Highest Speed)

Car Show registration is $45 and categories are as follows:

  • Best In Show
  • Import
  • Domestic
  • Classic
  • Engine Bay
  • Exotic
  • Stance

Tickets for spectators are $20 ages twelve and up.  Children under twelve are $10.
