Due to the cancellation of the Hannum’s Harley-Davidson Xtreme Summer Drag Race on Sunday, August 23, Maple Grove Raceway will now reschedule the previously cancelled Glory Days to that date. The event, now entitled Glory Days II, will feature drag racing and a car show that harkens back to racing’s wild, colorful early days.
The event will feature nostalgia drag racing organizations 422 All-Stars and the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racing Association (MANDRA), each putting on an exciting show. The day will also feature a Geezers elimination, nostalgia eliminations and Pro Dial eliminations.
The Glory Days II car show judging will take place at 2 p.m., with a total of 25 awards being presented at 4 p.m. There is no entry fee to enter the car show, but a pit pass is required.
Gates for Glory Days II open at 8 a.m. Time trials will begin at 9:30 a.m., and eliminations will begin at 1 p.m.
Pit pass admission for Glory Days II is $15 per adult, $10 for teens 13-14-15, and children 12 and under are free.
