Dave Dissinger wins Pro.
Everyone at Maple Grove Raceway on Saturday worked the late shift. Racing wasn’t completed until curfew was looming, but Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail 15 was finished with a few minutes to spare.
For the most part.
Winners were crowned in six of seven eliminators. The only one that didn’t send a victor to PPC Lubricants Victory Lane was Goldrush Trailers Super, which was stopped after three rounds due to track conditions after the air temperature dropped. More >
Joe Stuebner gets his first victory of the season.
Over the years, PPC Lubricants Victory was a familiar place for Joe Stuebner.

In 2013, he’s made his share of appearances, cheering the four Top Bike victories by Cory Stuebner, his son and competitor.

The second time is also nice for Andy Anderson in Pro.
Andy Anderson might just be ready to challenge Brock Moshier in the Ciccarone Race Products Pro E.T. Class. The only question is if the York, Pa. racer has enough time to catch him.
Anderson and his 1971 Dart won Sunday’s Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail event at Maple Grove Raceway, his second trip to PPC Lubricants Victory Lane in 2013.
In the final, he beat Brian Hine (Birdsboro, Pa.) with a pass of 10.011 seconds at 125.46 mph that was .011 over his dial in, while Hine broke out by .03. Anderson had a tough assignment in the semifinals against Paul Thimm Jr. (Mohnton, Pa.) and prevailed when Thimm broke out. Anderson kept it close by going .014 over his dial. Anderson also cut it close in the quarters against Jeremy Kleinfelter (Newmanstown, Pa.), going .010 over.
Hine beat David Sciarretta (Honey Brook, Pa.) in the semis by using a great reaction time and going .002 over, and advanced from the quarters when Jeneane Cloer (Telford, Pa.) fouled. More >
Saturday’s round of the Money Trail was also run under hot and sticky conditions. However, the talk of the pits was the $200 bounty MGR vice president/general manager Lex Dudas placed on Ciccarone Racing Products Pro E.T. points leader Brock Moshier.
Moshier (Lititz, Pa.) has been winning race after race and is running away with the points lead. To shake things up a bit, Dudas offered the reward to anyone who eliminated Moshier and his ’71 Vega in eliminations.
Kyle Harrell (Lansdale, Pa.) got the money in the semifinals when Moshier fouled at the start. It was a good day for Moshier, who had two opponents get red lights against him and then beat seasoned drivers Erin Thimm (Mohnton, Pa.) and Andy Anderson (York, Pa.).
However, Harrell couldn’t continue his good fortune in the final. Dan Smith (Morgantown, Pa.) won the afternoon in his ’89 Beretta when Harrell fouled. More >
