For its 52nd season, Maple Grove Raceway will once again offer a full schedule of drag racing action from late April to mid October.
The season will feature the return of many fan favorites, along with some big additions to the slate.
The 30th NHRA Nationals on Oct. 2-5 should continue to be one of the fastest races on the Mello Yello Series schedule and a pivotal part of the Countdown to the Championship. All four 2013 season champions – Shawn Langdon (Top Fuel), John Force (Funny Car), Jeg Coughlin (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) – earned Wallys at Maple Grove en route to their respective titles.

NHRA has extended its contract with Maple Grove Raceway to host the NHRA Nationals for an additional five years.
That means The Grove will continue to showcase the Top Fuel Dragsters, Funny Cars, Pro Stockers and Pro Stock Motorcycles of the NHRA Mello Yello Series through the 2019 season.
The ’14 event, the event’s 30th year at The Grove, will be held Oct. 2-5 as part of the Countdown to the Championship. More >

Out of the hundreds who donated $20 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand for a chance at winning a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Dan Mabe was the one who had this name picked.
The Delta, Pa., resident was present at Maple Grove Raceway Sunday morning before the start of the Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals to pick up his brand new 2013 Harley-Davidson XL 1200V Seventy-Two Sportster Motorcycle with a chrome yellow pearl finish.
Maple Grove Raceway, along with Classic Harley-Davidson, Don Schumacher Racing and the Reading Eagle teamed up for the raffle to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Tickets valued at $20 have been sold through the summer with all proceeds going to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
John Force qualified in the No. 1 position and became the new Funny Car points leader on Saturday at the 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway.
Morgan Lucas (Top Fuel), Jason Line (Pro Stock), and Michael Ray (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also will lead their categories into Sunday’s 11 a.m. eliminations as No. 1 qualifiers at the 22nd race of the season and the fourth of six playoff races in the NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship.
