For the first time in nearly two months, E.T. bracket cars were back in the spotlight Sunday at Maple Grove Raceway as the annual Ghosts and Goblins at The Grove returned to mark the beginning of the end of the 2013 season.
The annual event has a Halloween theme and several racers and their families took part in the festivities. Prizes were awarded for such categories as best costume, best decorated pit area and best costumed pet. There was trick-or-treating in the pits throughout the afternoon. More >
Maple Grove Raceway’s regular season is on the homestretch and two events will give fans and racers another chance to experience The Grove before it shuts down for the season.
The annual Fall Flea Market will be on Saturday, Oct. 26 followed by the Ghosts and Goblins at The Grove bracket race on Sunday, Oct. 27.
The Flea Market, which features hundreds of vendors selling parts and other automotive items, begins at 7 a.m. Vendors can rent a 15- by 20-foot space for $35. Buyers can enter for $5, and children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
It will be a day of Halloween fun and bracket racing as Maple Grove Raceway ends October with a very busy, and fun, Sunday with the annual Ghosts and Goblins at The Grove. More >
