After rain washed out Saturday’s Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail race, and the Maple Grove Raceway crew got a much-deserved break for Mother’s Day, racing will return this weekend with a full three-day card.

This weekend’s schedule starts on Friday, May 17, with another round of the popular Auto Locator Grudge Racing. Gates open at 4 p.m. with racing from 5 to 10. Admission is $25 for towed entries, $20 for drive-up entries, $10 for spectators while children 12-and-under are free with paid adult.

On Saturday Maple Grove’s local racers will return for the fifth edition of the Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail.

NHRA Lucas Oil Series racers will be on hand Saturday and Sunday for the Super Circuit Shootout. Classes running over the weekend also include the Mid Atlantic Super Gas and Mid Atlantic Super Comp series, along with newly formed Mid Atlantic Super Street series. These cars are warming up for the big Lucas Oil Series event at The Grove on Memorial Day weekend.

Also on Sunday, the cars from MANDRA will race and County Corvette of West Chester, Pa., will once again sponsor a charity race for Ronald McDonald House. Drivers who want to Test and Tune are welcome, too.

And if that wasn’t enough, there will also be a Grudge Race/Test and Tune on Sunday as well.

Gates will open Saturday at 8 a.m. with time trials at 9 a.m. and eliminations to follow after two time shots. Sunday’s gates open at 8 a.m. with time trials at 9 and eliminations to follow after two time shots. Spectators are $15 with children 12-and-under free with a paid adult.
