Flea Market, Test and Tune this weekend
With the warm weather finally here, it’s time for Maple Grove Raceway to open its gates to bargain hunters.
The annual Spring Automotive Flea Market annually draws over 600 vendors and thousands of buyers. The two-day show will be on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14.
Additionally, racers will get a chance to use Maple Grove’s quarter-mile strip on Sunday with a test and tune session.
Gates for the Flea Market open at 7 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Vendors can rent a 15- by 20-foot space for $50 (both days) or $35 (one day). Buyers can enter for $5 with children 12-and-under free with a paid adult.
The test and tune will give drivers a chance to warm up for the Spring 10K Footbrake Nationals that will run April 20-21. As well as getting their car in shape, competitors participating in the Footbrake race can pre-enter and take their car through tech a week early to avoid any lines the next weekend.
Gates open for the test and tune at 9 a.m. with racing beginning at 10 and lasting until 4 p.m. It will be $20 for a drive-up car and driver, or $25 for a towed entry, while crewmembers are $10 each at the gate.
