Rules For Race Classes

Quick 16

Class Description:
Quick 16 is open to Imports Only. This class is run on a Heads Up Format to allow the fastest of the fastest to strut their stuff down the 1320!!!

Format: This is a ¼ Mile Heads Up Class run on a .400 Pro Tree. 7 Second Auto Start will be in effect. Courtesy Staging Advised. The class will qualify the fastest 16 Imports and place them on a Pro Ladder. There will also be the Quick 32 Class for cars that qualify 17th through 49th.

Chassis: Any type chassis is permitted.
Body: Door cars only are permitted. Any year vehicle is allowed.
Chassis: Any type chassis is permitted.
General Safety: All vehicles must conform with general NHRA safety rules.

Lower engine containment device (Diaper) – MANDATORY
Engine Containment Device:
Engine diaper or catch pan device to capture oil and/or debris in the event of engine and/or transmission failure mandatory. Where exhaust header passes directly under oil pan, a two piece diaper may be utilized. If a catch pan device is used, catch pan must employ minimum 2 inch high lips on all sides. Notching of the pan is prohibited, as it must be 2″ high on all sides. All lips must have a continuous weld or a bend in the metal along seams and corners so fluids cannot escape (you cannot bolt or pop rivet lips on pans for oil to escape). Lips must be covered or curved inward, so as to contain oil in pan. Catch pan must cover entire area below the engine/transmission. Catch pan must extend from radiator support to firewall an d from frame rail to frame rail. In all cases, lips must be adequate enough to contain oil in the catch pan. Should a competitor spill excessive oil from the catch pan and debris onto the track, he or she may be disqualified from further competition at the sole and absolute discretion of the event director until the catch pan is upgraded, regardless of the height of pan lips or pan design.

Engine: Any type 4 or 6 Cylinder Import Engine is permitted. 2 & 3 Rotor Engines Also Permitted Any internal engine modifications are permitted. Motor swaps of same manufacturer or different manufacturers are allowed as long as

they meet weight requirements. Aftermarket blocks are permitted. Nitrous Oxide is permitted.

2 Rotor = 1,800lbs
3 Rotor = 2,100lbs
4 Cylinder = 1,900lbs
6 Cylinder = 2,200lbs

 

Turbo: Any Size Turbo Permitted

All parties unable to qualify for the Quick 16 class will automatically go over to the Quick 32 Index Class.

 

Quick 32

Class Description: Quick 32 is open to Imports Only. The class is run in an ET Bracket Racing Format and allows racers that were not able to qualify in the Quick 16 Class an opportunity to race with their faster piers for a large purse.

Format: This is a ¼ Mile E.T. Bracket Class run on a .500 Full Tree. 7 Second Auto Start will be in effect. Courtesy Staging Advised. The qualified 32 car field will be put on a Sportsman Ladder based on the fastest E.T. All cars attempting to qualify must be 9.99 or quicker.

Chassis: Any type chassis is permitted.
Body: Door cars only are permitted. Any year vehicle is allowed.

Chassis: Full round and square tube chassis prohibited Stock style front suspension mandatory, bolt on aftermarket parts permitted

 

Body: Full bodied street appearing cars only, no roadsters, altereds or dragsters allowed

Lettering allowed on windows only, lettering on car must be approved before competition

 

 

Electronics: Delay Boxes, Electronic Throttle Stops & Stutter Boxes are prohibited.
Trans Brake & 2 Step Permitted
Aftermarket Auto Shifters Prohibited, Car must be shifted by driver or function must be of OEM Stock Origin

 

Exhaust: Mufflers are mandatory on all vehicles except turbo charged vehicles inserts are not mufflers

 

Fuel: Gasoline, E85 & Alcohol Permitted. Nitromethane is Permitted

Class Description: E.T. Bracket is open to Imports & Domestics. Door Cars Only. The class is run in an ET Bracket Racing Format.
Format:
This is a ¼ Mile E.T. Bracket Class run on a .500 Full Tree. .Random pairing until 8 cars or less then laddered on a Sportsman ladder. First round bye is awarded to best reaction time pulled from last time trial, If paired Bye continues onto subsequent round till used or competitor loses  Byes for subsequent rounds are pulled from prior round

Chassis: Any type chassis is permitted.
Body: Door cars only are permitted. Any year vehicle is allowed.
Chassis: Any type chassis is permitted.
General Safety: All vehicles must conform with general NHRA safety rules.

 

Engine: Any type engine is permitted.

Electronics: No delay boxes permitted

Class Description: SFWD
is open to Front Wheel Drive Imports Only. This class is run on a Heads Up Format.

Format:
This is a ¼ Mile Heads Up Class run on a .400 Pro Tree. 7 Second Auto Start will be in effect. Courtesy Staging Advised. The class will qualify the fastest 16 Imports and place them on a Pro Ladder.

Body: Must have an import body or a domestic sport compact body. Any year vehicle is allowed. Lightweight components are limited to hood, front fenders, decklid, hatches, sunroofs, wings, ground effects, and bumpers only.

Roof, Quarter panels, and doors must remain steel. One-piece front ends are not permitted. FWD cars are permitted to run widene d three-piece front ends. No body parts may be removed during competition.

Chassis: All cars must retain complete stock chassis, floorboard, firewall, and frame rails. Notching of chassis for clearance is permitted. Aftermarket “K” members are permitted.

Suspension: All cars must utilize stock front and rear suspension and mounts. Aftermarket front control arms, rear control arms, and sub-frame connectors are permitted. Aftermarket struts and shocks are permitted (electronic adjustable shocks are prohibited). Ladder bars, four links, and wheelie bars are prohibited on all car

Format: This is a 1/8th Mile E.T. Bracket Class run on a .500 Full Tree. 7 Second Auto Start will be in effect. Courtesy Staging Advised. The qualified 32 car field will be put on a Sportsman Ladder based on the fastest E.T.

General Safety: All vehicles must conform with general NHRA safety rules.
All Riders must have full leathers. Zipped together leathers are recommended and may be mandatory in the future. All riders must have a Snell 05 or higher full face helmet with shield, leathers, gloves and shoes above the ankle. All ATV’s must have Tether Kill Switches. Kill Switch when activated must disable the ignition, fuel pump(s), and nitrous solenoids.
