Racing Not Required

You do not need to race in order to come hang out at the High School Challenge! There is more to do than just race. Watch close competition grudge matches on the quarter-mile. Cruise the show field of cars. Enter to win free tickets to upcoming events, walk away with racing swag or just chill with your friends. It will be an event you don’t want to miss. From the Smokey Burnout Contest to a Car Cram. Yes, that’s right, a car cram! Maybe you could even walk away with the title of Maple Grove Raceway’s 2018 Ugliest Working Wreck Award.

There is No “I” in TEAM!

This is not a “sanctioned” school event, but we do recognize the schools in attendance. For the student class, racers are asked to declare the high school they represent. With each round win the racer scores one point for his/her school. The school that tallies up the most round wins are recognized on the racetrack and awarded a trophy to take back to their respective high school!

We’ve Got Spirit, Yes WE DO! We’ve Got Spirit, How ‘Bout YOU?

It doesn’t matter if there are two students or hundred students if you are cheering on your classmates, we are watching you! We will recognize the school that demonstrates the most team spirit and the best appearing school! Start working on your cheers, your decorations and your attire!
