Important Info. Regarding Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series

This year there are 12 bracket racing dates on the schedule. 11 of those events are points earning races. The last day to qualify for the Summit Racing ET Bracket Finals is August 25th. The 2018 Sunoco Race Fuels ET Season Track Championships will be determined on Saturday, October 13th. Racers interested in joining the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series can find the application on the Maple Grove Raceway website or by calling the office at 610-856-9200 ext. 103.

The Junior Dragster program will now be divided up into three categories. This change will allow the youth program to expand and give these young racers the opportunity to gain more racing experience. The three sub-categories are novice, intermediate and advanced. The novice class is for racers ages six to seven and eight to nine years old. The intermediate class applies to racers between the ages of ten to 12 years. The advanced class includes racers who are ages 13 to 18 years old.
There are now guaranteed purses, lower entry fees and increased end of year payouts for Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series. Also, new for 2018 are new racer incentive programs. Information regarding the specifics of the incentive programs will be released at a later date.

NHRA Specialty Programs
King of the Track
The King of the Track program will be run on August 25th. It will be run the same way as in previous years. Racers participating in Super, Pro, Street and Top Bike are eligible to participate. Each winner in Super, Pro, Street and Top Bike will race each other until one racer remains. That remaining race will be Maple Grove Raceway’s 2018 King (or Queen) of the Track and will receive a Wally and custom King of the Track hat.
All Access Challenge
The All Access Challenge will be organized differently for the 2018 season. The All Access Challenge will be run July 7 and 8th during the back to back Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series events. The winner will receive a hat and Wally.
Northeast Division NHRA Summit Racing ET Bracket Finals
The top thirty-two (32) drivers entered in the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series will represent Maple Grove Raceway at the Northeast Division NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals held at Atco Raceway, September 20-22, 2018. Each class will send the following number of racers: Super Pro (10), Pro (10), Street (8), and Super Bike (4). Points will be earned from April 21 through August 25 inclusive. Double entries will not be permitted. Each qualified team member will receive a team jacket, hat, shirt and complimentary car and driver entry.
NHRA Junior Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals
The top thirty (30) drivers entered will represent Maple Grove Raceway at the NHRA Junior Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals held at Bristol Dragway, July 19-21, 2018. Each class will send the following number of racers: Advanced (12), Intermediate (12), and Novice (6). Points will be earned from April 21 through July 7 inclusive. Three teams of ten (10) will be assembled, a Red Team, a White Team and a Blue Team. Each qualified team member will receive a team shirt and complimentary car and driver entry.
