What’s happening this weekend at the Grove…

Friday, June 3rd – Sunday, June 5th

Friday, June 3rd:

This Friday is Maple Grove’s first Free Fast Friday for the year. Racers who wish to race only pay the $10 spectator price and receive a free tech card to race. June 3rd is open to driven street cars only! We ask no vehicles be brought in or on a trailer please . Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 5 p.m.

Saturday, June 4th:

Race 4 Ronald’s House is almost here! This event is benefiting the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. Spectators can attend the event by bringing a new, unwrapped toy or making a donation to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. Each racer’s $65 registration fee will also benefit the house. Activities for the day include: drag racing with time trials and eliminations, car show, charity “Walk for a Night” led by Ronald McDonald and a toy collection drive. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. and racing starts at 8:30 a.m.

Sunday, June 5th:

The VW June Bug Classic returns for its 29th consecutive year here at Maple Grove. There will be a car show with over 40 show classes and six race classes, along with drag racing. Gates open at 8 a.m. and racing starts at 9 a.m.

Jr. Dragster Challenge: Sunday, June 5th-

Calling all Jr. dragsters! This Sunday is our Jr. Dragster Challenge. Cost to race is $30 and a crew pass is $15. There will be five age groups with each winner racing for a Wally. The age groups are: 8-9 years, 10-11 years, 12-13 years, 14-15 years and 16-17 years.
