ET Bracket Racing Kicks-Off This Weekend

The 2016 Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail ET Series kicks off this weekend with the ‘”lid lifting” Spring Training Test and Tune set for Saturday April 16 and first of 15 Money Trail races on Sunday April 17.
Spring Training gates open at 8A on Saturday with testing and tuning getting underway at 10A and will continue until 4P. The TNT is open to all entries with car and driver fees set at $25.00 for towed entries and $20 for driven entries. Crew and spectator fees are just $10 for the day.
Sunday’s Money Trail will see all 2015 Money Trail Champions set to defend their titles including Rick Terkowski – Super, Robert Smith – Pro, Paul Werner – Street, Cory Stuebner – Top Bike and Matt Witkowski – Junior Dragster. Gates open on Sunday at 8A with time trials starting at 9A, Eliminations following the second time trail. Spectators and crew are $15.00, teens 13 – 15 $10 and children 12 and under are free. Super entry $75, Pro $55, Street $40, Top Bike $45, Junior Dragster $30, Junior Street $30, Trophy $30 and Time and License $80.
Maple Grove Raceway will again offer the “Family, Friends and Neighbors” plan where anyone can enter the pit area after 1P for a super price of $5.00 for each person in the vehicle and children 12 and under are free! The program, initiated in 2015 was a great success and officials wanted to keep the program growing for 2016.
New for 2016 will be a point structure for the popular Junior Street category for drivers ages 13 – 16 the points structure will be based on the junior dragster points system that has been in place for many years. Maple Grove’s Jason Leber stated, “We’ve had a number of inquiries from interested parents on the procedures needed to run Junior Street and we’re encouraged by the response we’ve received concerning the new points system for Junior Street.”
The 2016 Money Trail top finishers will share in over $25,000.00 in cash and awards at the annual Awards Banquet set for February 4, 2017 at the Doubletree Hotel in Reading.
Sunoco Race Fuels and Insinger Performance continue to support the racers at Maple Grove Raceway and have announced a new incentive program for all Maple Grove events. Any Racer purchasing a minimum of 25 gallons of Sunoco Race Fuel products during the season will have their name entered into a season ending drawing choosing 10 drivers who will receive a $100.00 gift certificate towards fuel purchases during the 2017 season at Maple Grove Raceway.
Any Sunoco racer purchasing five gallons of Sunoco Race Fuel on the day of event will receive a $25.00 cash bonus if they are a class winner. Winning racers must present a receipt for the day’s purchase at payout to receive the bonus money.
Any racer purchasing a minimum of 100 gallons of Sunoco Race Fuel products during the season will have their name entered into a season ending drawing and the winning name from the draw will receive a special 4-day cruise to the Bahamas for the driver and one guest.

Junior Dragster racers are reminded Maple Grove is offering a special cash day during the UTI High School Challenge on Sunday April 24 which will be sponsored by Ken’s Kustom Chassis. The winner will receive $200, Runner up $100, Semis $50. Car and driver fees are $30. Junior Street will also be contested at the UTI High School Challenge, $30 car and driver fees.
